CREATIVE PLANNING FOR MODERN TRUSTS

JOHN ANDREWS

Sponsored by Vaquero Wealth Management

The attendee is expected to obtain a working knowledge of the different types of trusts that have been developed in recent years.  This will enable the attendee to identify situations where his or her clients can benefit from using particular trusts for asset protection, estate and gift tax planning, and management of assets in a trust scenario.  Attendees will be able to identify and explain the use of the modern trusts with their clients and if such use appears suitable for a client, the attendee can refer the client to an estate planning attorney familiar the creation and operation of modern trusts. John Andrews joined Stan Barth to form Andrews & Barth. John’s expertise in both business law and estate planning enables him to provide creative solutions to estate and business planning. Mr. Andrews has spoken on numerous business law and estate planning topics, including: family limited partnerships, asset protection, buy-sell agreements and generation-skipping planning. He graduated from SMU with a B.B.A. and received his J.D. from the University of Texas.  He is board certified in Estate Planning and Probate Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization.
