DESCRIPTION:\nDEPC COMMUNITY OUTREACH PROJECT: \n \nThe DEPC Community Outreach Committee and the Emerging Professionals are partnering again to host a care package party Monday, April 22nd from 5:30 – 7:00 pm at the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Dallas Clubhouse facility located near the intersection of the Tollway and Wycliff.  DEPC members will assemble care packages – which include a personal note from a DEPC member - to provide encouragement to children who are either currently served by CASA (“Court Appointed Special Advocates”) or are “graduates” of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Dallas program finishing up their first year of college, often times as the first member of their family to do so.  Boys & Girls Clubs received a lot of great feedback last year from the students about how much they loved receiving the care packages and the notes of encouragement from the DEPC members, so please consider participating in this great event!\n \n \n \nDEPC will supply the contents for the care packages, and pizza will be provided to our volunteers and children in attendance at the clubhouse the day of the party. \n \n \n \nPlease RSVP to Laura Brown or Laurel Stephenson by April 8th if you are planning to attend.\n \nLaurel Stephenson: laurel@davisstephenson.com\n \nLaura Brown: LJB9@ntrs.com\n \n \n
