This program will be a panel discussion of advanced estate planning techniques discussing how the “team approach” will give the client a better outcome by using shared wisdom. Five concepts of effective collaboration will be examined: (1) The wisdom of the team trumps the wisdom of the individual; (2) Effective collaboration requires respect of, and for, each team member; (3) How to select the best team and maximize results; (4) How failures to communicate can undercut the collaborative effort (5) How to ensure the “follow through” of each team member by using checklists and leaders.   Marvin Blum was recently recognized by the Fort Worth Business Press as a "Power Attorney" for Tarrant County, Texas. This award was given to only 12 attorneys who have attained a "high degree of peer recognition, professional achievement and have achieved unparalleled success." He has been designated as one of the nation's Top 100 Attorneys by Worth magazine, a publication with a national circulation that is published in New York and focuses on wealth management issues for high-net-worth individuals and theiradvisors.  Perry Kaufman, CPA knows the challenges business owners face, having spent 15 years in his own thriving firm, and now serving on TravisWolff’s management committee. Understanding the client’s perspective is the cornerstone of his practice. Randy Mayeux is a professional speaker and writer, and a doctoral candidate in Communication from the University of Southern California. He gives more than 450 public presentations annually to various business and government audiences, non-profit groups and associations, and professional conferences.
